FSS Challenge
Here is my attempt at Deanne's theme for the FSS Challenge. I used Fred's Flowers v6 Daisies and cut out an included frame and sponged it with distress ink and coloured the flowers with pencils. I tried a ruffled border punch tutorial which can be found HERE using a border punch and a crimper :) I also inked the border ruffle with distress inks. I love distress inks LOL!
The monthly challenge is still on and runs until Feb 21st so you still have lots of time to play :) and get a chance to win $20 gift certificate to the Fred She Said store.
Have a great day!
:)* Fred

Fredtabulous! The soft colours are stunning. That ruffle is off the HOOK! I finally made the FREDding bouquet I've been dream about, with posts here: http://melstampz.blogspot.com/2010/02/its-here-its-here-caardvarks-get.html

Now, to finish the other half-dozen half-finished projects I've been workin' on with your super Gorgeous images! ;o) teehee. Hugs...
Fred, I love all your designs, You have become my NEW "best friend"!!
Being new to the digital crafts I do have one question.....do you use pop dots between the layers when you are layering a design?
Thank you
Jeane
Hi Jeane! I use pop dots as well as silicone glue ( comes in a tube... you can get it for 3D decoupage.. in a small tube but I get all-purpose silicone sealant clear in a tube... it can be found in hardware stores). I put little blobs ( scraping the "bump" squeezed out using a kebob stick LOL) under about 3-4 of my flower petals and lightly push flower onto project while mainting the dimensionality of the glue. I helps keep the flowers from flattening out.
