Christmas Bird Series & an Ornament

I have added a Christmas Bird Series and a Christmas Ornament Digi :)

Here are the Birds ( Each bird includes the outline Digi (PNG & JPG), Pre-Coloured version and alternate coloured version with white background in JPG - in case you don't like the blue snowy sky ;)

 DT Darsie made a card and hand coloured the Christmas Cardinal ... oooooooh!  I love it!

The Christmas Ornament 1 ( outline DIGI only ) has a plain version so you can add your own bow/flowers/embellishments ;)

CDAC Color Challenge and limited time FREEBIE

Hi everyone!  I have the honour and pleasure to be hosting the Crafters Digital Art Center's   Round 9 Colour Challenge!  Please go here to see all the Digital Artists  who are co-hosting the Current CDAC Challenges!

For a limited time I am offering a digital image for free to use in the challenges!  You can find it at the  cdaccc9  Colour Challenge posting  and all the challenge info :)  The image is "Pumpkin Bouquet" and will be up for 2 weeks then it will go in the store.

I coloured the Pumpkin Bouquet with coloured pencils and OMS and I embellished with little punched flowers and a MS Butterfly. 

The colours I chose for this challenge are PURPLE, GREEN & ORANGE.  I hope you will give the challenges ( Freebie, Sketch, Holiday & Color Challenges) a try and the winners will receive free images from the hosting digi artists!

CARD - Emma the Caroler

I love purple LOL  so why not have purple on a christmas card?  Yummy!

I used Emma the Caroler in Lavender that can be found HERE.   The embossed background is pearlized card stock from Gina K.  I also used iridescent pearl string, stickles, and polar Flower Soft.  The scalloped oval and background trim was coloured with a Lilac prismacolor pencil ;)

Emma the Caroler / Caroling Angel Pre-Coloured Sets

 I finally have the Pre-Coloured Sets done for Emma the Caroler and Emma the Caroling Angels!  There are 8 coloured versions each.

Here is a card I made with the Emma the Caroling Angel in RED:

I found some excellent free sheet music and I crinkled and distressed and coloured with Antique Linen and Brushed Corduroy Distress inks and edged with gold paint.  Lots of stickles too :) I added a link below to where I found the sheet music.

Here is Fred's creation for the Blog Hop:

I used the Sunflowers & Thankfulness Pre-Coloured Set on matte photo paper and cut 2 sunflower trio images out and 3d'ed them and added some  lines of yellow stardust pen for some glitter.  I printed a plaid background and played around and made a digital swirly to try out my new Viva Pearl Pens on!  I need a bit more practice but these are FUN!  I also used a CB folder from the Heritage Collection.. love this folder! If I would hazard a guess, I think I have nailed my style .... flowers, pearls and swirlies OH MY! LOL

I have a FREEBIE for you!!!  an 8x8 Plaid paper to match the Sunflowers & Thankfulness set, a swirly digi/template in jpg and PNG and a sheet with the swirly already coloured to match gold or silver.. the silver can be used with any colour pearl pen even stickles or glitter glue.

SEPT 14 DIGI OF THE WEEK - CUPCAKES!

SEPT 7 - DIGI OF THE WEEK - Emma in the Leaves

Apple For Teacher / Back to School

It's that time of the year again... woohoo!  Kids are GOING BACK TO SCHOOL!  yey!

I put up a digi in honour of this glorious event LOL!

I coloured this image with pencils, OMS and glossy accents.  The actual pencils were from a 24 set of Koh-i-Noor woodless pencils.  I used an orangey red, darker red, bit of dark pink and a yellow to colour the apple... looks good enough to eat!  The set comes with alot of variations, including just the apple, and also has a Back To School alternate sentiment.

Yes I am sooo happy!  Off you go, kids! :D
