Paper Angels and SVG freebies

UPDATED!  DEC 13, I have added GSD files for cutting machines like Craft Robo and Silhouette. See below :)

UPDATED - DOWNLOAD LINKS FIXED.

UPDATE:  I have added Carol's original post link, as I can't seem to easily access the original free class.  Please see the bottom of her post for the video.  The post can be found HERE

Hi everybody!  I have been busy making angels! Thanks so much Carol H. for this awesome idea!   You can see and participate in a FREE Paper Angel Class at the CDAC - it runs all month long :)  I decided to give family and friends angels instead of cards this year.. what was I thinking?! LOL  I have to make 15 to 20 and all that cutting and punching... yikes!  So I thought I would let my Cricut do the work ;)  I attended a webinar for Make the Cut software on how to curve a border strip recently and thought it would be great to make the semi-circle arm and dress templates with fancy trim ( like Carol shows) and I also made some wings while I was at it ;)

Here are some free cutting files and a printable wings template ( if you don't have a digital cutting machine)

Link to the SVG Paper Angel Cutting files is HERE.

NEW! Link to  GSD version of these cutting files is HERE.

Link to a Paper Angel Wings PDF to print  is HERE. ( just a sheet of wings)

The cutting files are in SVG format and can be used in digital cutting machines that accept SVG files - eg  Craft Robo, Silhouette, Cougar, Gazelle and Cricut ( you need special software for the Cricut, two good programs are Make the Cut and Sure Cuts Alot.  I used Make the Cut to creat the SVG files.

Such cute angels. My mom used to make these out of paper doilies, and I never thought of doing them with my cutter!! Thank you!!!!

Tracey, you are a life-saver! I bought the supplies to make these and am waiting for the MS punch for the bottom to arrive. This will make my life much easier. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am not sure how to contact you, Vera.

The original instructions are Carol Hurlock's. If you go to the bottom of the post below ( link ), there is a video on how to assemble. She uses her template and punches to make the angel.
